I got this Thinkpad after it was upgraded to a newer one. It still works perfectly and just needed Windows reinstalled.
It is a relatively high level trim of the T500 and is still usable today. Even with Windows 10 on a HDD it is still pretty fast.
This Thinkpad is similar to the Thinkpad T61 just with newer components. It uses almost all of the same case parts.
