I rescued my Commodore 64 along with the matching 1541 disk drive from an
E-Waste pile outside. It had rained previously so I was concerned that it would not work when I got it home.
I carried it back home and left it to warm up in front of a fan for a few hours, but then I read that the power
bricks can fail and kill the computer. I ordered a replacement power brick that eventually arrived.
Then I hooked the Commodore up, and it worked! I still dont have a disk to test the drive but I think it should also work.
